Employment Checks

Workways Australia delivers a number of government funded contracts and deeds.  In addition we work with a range of disadvantaged, vulnerable and young people within the Australian Community.  To ensure we are compliant with legislation and our contracts, as an applicant for our jobs you may be required to undertake a range of pre-employment screening checks.

These checks can include:

  • National Criminal History Check
  • Employment Reference Checks
  • Personal Reference Checks
  • Working with Children, Working with Vulnerable People, Blue or Yellow card Checks
  • Right to Work Checks
  • Psychometric, aptitude and other forms of testing

 

What do we do with this information?

Workways uses this information to inform our choices about a Candidates suitability for a role.  In instances where you are denied a role based on the result of one or more of these checks, our staff will discuss our decision with you regarding this.
