About the opportunity:
As a Site Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the Workforce Australia staff and operational objectives in their local area. You will motivate, guide and develop staff while working closely with the Regional Manager to monitor and track performance and ensure delivery of a coherent and integrated services to both customers and employers.
Being a Site Manager involves:
- Being responsible for day-to-day operations of the site, its staff and assets.
- Developing new business with employers and community networks.
- Ensuring achievement of performance targets through excellent customer service and delivering high quality employment services to clients.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Reviewing and leading the development and enhancement of staff capabilities through ongoing training and development and performance coaching and mentoring.
- Being responsible for compliance and quality assurance within the contract and relevant legislations applicable to the site.
- Approval of financial expenditure in line with contract guidelines and policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership by fostering a positive team environment and culture that promotes collaboration.
About You:

- You have the proven ability to manage and develop staff using your knowledge of management and HR principles and practices.
- You have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise and consult with a wide range of stakeholders
- You use your knowledge of the local labour market to establish and maintain networks in the local community
- You have the proven ability to work within a contractual compliant environment.
- You may have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Employment Services or related fields.
- You hold a current driver’s licence and are willing to undertake a satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Check as a pre-condition of employment
